Bookings
You are asked to complete a booking form, selecting which days of the week and times you would like your child/children to attend.
If you have secured a regular booking with us on designated days then you do not need to remind us each week, we only need notification if your child is not going to attend the session booked. If you wish to book additional days, then you need to see a member of staff who will confirm if they can accommodate your child on that day. Parents do have the flexibility of booking on the day if staff: children ratio is available. We prefer you to book in advance. We can not guarantee there will be a place if booked on the day.
Please give 24 hours’ notice for absence. If less than 24 hours’ notice is given, then the full fee will be charged unless the child is ill.
Dropping off
For breakfast club your child/children may be dropped off from the main door only.
After breakfast club has finished at 08:45, all children will be taken to their classrooms by the breakfast club leader where teachers will acknowledge their safe arrival.
Food provision
Breakfast will normally consist of a selection of cereals and toast and a drink of milk or water. Once a week there will be a special breakfast for example pancakes , hot chocolate waffles, etc. Please note that breakfast will not be served after 08:30 as there would be insufficient time for children to eat breakfast and to be able to clean up and make the classroom ready for the start of school.
Activities
We have a selection of toys and games available for the children to play with as well as i-pads, sewing and colouring. A time table is available below of these sessions. There will be a quiet area available for homework during breakfast club.
Children are not allowed to bring their own electronic hand held games or iPads.
Other important information
If your child has an accident whilst in our care, it will be noted in our accident book.
When you come to collect your child, we will inform you of the accident.
We have a medicine consent form for you to complete if your child needs to take any form of medicines whilst in our care. This gives permission for staff to administer it by the leader.
Opening times
AM - from 07:45 drop off. (Please do not ask staff to take your children before this time, as they will be preparing for the breakfast session.)
